Allison Cook Gilliam is a native of Lynchburg, TN and a proud "Raiderette", who graduated from Moore County Highschool. Allison's education includes an Associate of Arts degree from Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, TN, a BA degree in Psychology and Religious Studies from Athens State College in Athens, AL, a Master's of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt Divinity School, and a Doctorate of Ministry degree from a cooperative program with Wesley Seminary in Washington D.C. and Oxford University in Oxford, England. Allison is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. She has served Churches in the legacy Tennessee Conference and now the Tennessee Western Kentucky Conference of the UMC since 1986. She is the widow of J. Marshall Gilliam and proud mother of Hogan Gilliam. She loves sports and spending time with her canine companions, Chris and Leo.
